INTRODUCTION
Where it all Started
A LONG TIME AGO...
I’m a father of four children. I love them and they love me – I think! The two older ones have left the house and sometimes phone home to talk and to ask questions.
The two younger ones are still at primary school and their dad is very close to Superman, Hulk and Solomon: Strong, ugly but wise! They ask many questions as well.
But what happens to all the answers of these questions? Do they remember it? Save it? Cherish it? Write it down in their diaries? Very unlikely!
All parents have answered millions of questions over the years. Some of them were factually correct, stimulating, interesting and helpful. Some not!
The above was written in December 2003.
LATER…
Some years ago I started writing down the questions my children asked about me. When going to bed at night, they would ask me to tell them a story about “when you were young dad”. These were the most interesting stories – to all parties involved. They loved to listen to tales about my childhood, school days, army adventures, sport achievements, angry teachers, pets, games we played, girls I charmed, books I read, pocket money received (generally a laughter) and proposals made to mommy (a very popular one).
After many years I’ve structured the questions in groups and started answering them in writing. But for me it was too formal. I shuffled the questions and answered it at random – then I started enjoying it! I never was a writer, but this was fun.
At one stage I made some of the Questions and Answers available to my children (to test the reaction) and they loved and adored it. They asked for more and asked more questions. The list just grew. I was eager to answer the questions and they could not wait for it.
Sometimes we discussed the answers. This led to interesting conversations and discussions and eventually I heard more about their lives! What a privilege!

I’ve listed thousands of questions under a variety of topics, but have used only the simplest, easy-to-answer and popular ones. It will stimulate your thinking and help you to WRITE YOUR OWN LIFE BOOK (Your ‘Legacy’) over a period of time - the easy way.
